- Publication recognizes firm among best employer in Marketing and Media -

SAN DIEGO – September 20, 2010 – Red Door Interactive, a premier strategic Internet Presence Management firm, today announced it was recognized by Advertising Age as one of the Best Places to Work in Marketing and Media.

The employees surveyed gave the company very high marks on its leadership and planning, employee engagement, corporate culture and communications as well as relationships with staff.

“We’ve extremely fortunate to have built a successful company that’s been recognized by various media outlets ranging from national to local, but it’s a greater achievement to be recognized among those that more closely resemble our creative industry peers ,” said Reid Carr, president of Red Door Interactive. “We have a lot of great things going on at Red Door and we couldn’t be more proud to represent San Diego on this prominent list!”

This marks the first year that Ad Age has identified the Best Places to Work in the Marketing and Media industry. Eligible businesses included privately or publically-held companies in the U.S. with a minimum of 25 employees and in operation for at least one year. Businesses were required to submit information regarding their human resource policies and practices as well as employee demographics. Staff members were also asked to participate in online surveys as part of the process.

In addition to this achievement, Red Door Interactive was recently named to Inc. Magazines “Inc. 5,000” list and honored by the San Diego Business Journal as one of the area’s Best Places to Work. The Web Marketing Association also named the firm “Best Internet Service Provider: Rich Media Online Campaign” and “Best Telecommunication Website and Mobile Application” while The American Marketing Association gave Red Door “Best New Media Marketing,” “Best Makeover Campaign” and “People’s Choice” awards this year. The firm also received an “Addy” for “Best Social Media Web/Online Campaign” and was named one of America’s “Inner City 100” companies by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC).
